Resources for Lower School Parents and Students

As we move through this unprecedented time of operating as a school remotely, we will use our website and eventually Canvas to communicate and provide instruction. While our teachers get trained up on how to deliver instruction to our students remotely, we thought we would share some resources for our parents and students to use at home for review.

iStation

www.istation.com/IstationHome web page provides information on how to log in to the Istation Parent Portal, where you can view your child’s progress and access reports and other resources.

After contacting iStation, you may reach out to your child’s teacher for any additional support

 

Parent Portal letters were sent home with students on Friday March 13th containing individual usernames and passwords

You should have received your child’s login information if you have children in 2nd through 4th

Once your child logins, the program will walk your children through the fluency until they all “green light”.

 

 

Contact your child’s teacher in grades 2-4 if you are having difficulty getting into the program.

Create a free account and have access to 75+ streaming videos with character topics and fitness exercises

Once you have a free account created, you would contact their customer support with any questions

You are able to sign up for their free newsletters which will provide weekly activities for students

Once you load the webpage, there are printable resources for reading and math that are grade level specific and are aligned to the State of North Carolina

 

There is no login information required and offers free, printable resources for families to use

Scholastic Learn at Home

For Families site Click Here

 

Select the correct grade level material and Scholastic will walk you through the material.  This will be consistently updated until 20 days of free material is on the site
