Amy Benson, 6th Grade Remote Learning and Intervention Teacher

Mrs. Benson grew up in Northern Virginia, but moved to Charlotte when she was 10 years old. She graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from UNC Chapel Hill in Sociology and Religious Studies. After college, Mrs. Benson earned a Master's degree in Teaching Middle Grades Math from UNC Charlotte and began teaching in 2008. This is her third year at Bradford and her 13th year teaching middle school students. Mrs. Benson lives in Huntersville with her husband, Mitch and their basset hound named Sir Charles Chips. In her free time, Mrs. Benson enjoys reading, creating any kind of DIY project, and hanging out with her family.
