Bridgette Mathis, Upper School OCS Teacher
Bridgette Mathis graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations from East Carolina University in 2001 and went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Argosy University in 2010. She has been a Special Education teacher for over 14 years, working in the Charlotte Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County School Systems. She is joining the Bradford family this year and will be working with high school EC students in the Occupational Course of Study Program. She devotes time and energy to creating and building growth-inspiring relationships. She is passionate about teaching students with disabilities and believes healthy relationships with her students and families creates an environment filled with growth and possibilities. Bridgette lives in Concord with her husband Roderick, step-daughter, Trinity and three boys, Kal-El, Braxton, and Cole. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing piano. She is also devoted to serving her church where she directs the Youth Music and Arts Department and has spent over 20 years as the pianist.
