Nellie Murison graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State University in Elementary Education in 2006. She went on to earn her Masters Degree in Education in 2012 from Walden University. She taught 8 years of third grade, as well as 3 years of 6th-grade math in another Charlotte area charter school before coming to Bradford Prep. Last year was Nellie's first year teaching 4th grade at Bradford Prep and she has really enjoyed the transition to 4th grade. Nellie lives in Charlotte with her fiancé and his two children and loves to travel, exercise, read, and hang out with her dog, Kali.
