Bernadette earned her Bachelors's degree in Child & Family Services from Mansfield University. Over the past 30 years, Bernie has been dedicated to the field of Early Childhood Education. During this time she has worked in various Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom settings in Pa, Ca, and NC. She is passionate about instilling a love for learning in the hearts & minds of our young children. She loves to use creativity & imagination in all aspects of her teaching. Bernie and her husband Rodney have resided in Concord for more than 20 years. Their daughter Brittany recently graduated from WCU and has relocated to Asheville. Bernie loves relaxing by the pool or at the beach and spending time with family & friends. She also has 2 sweet cats, Maggie & Mary.
