Barbara Peacock moved from St. Louis, Missouri to Charlotte after graduating from Truman State University with a degree in Mathematics Education. She has taught in public and private schools around the Charlotte area. She was also the Director of Education at a Sylvan Learning Center. Prior to homeschooling her children for five years, Barbara was a computer application programmer. At Bradford, she teaches Upper School mathematics. Barbara lives in Charlotte with her husband, Chuck. They have two adult children, Aaron and Meredith who have families of their own. Barbara's favorite thing right now is spending time with her two grandsons. Barbara also loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and gardening. Barbara feels that Bradford has been the most exciting place to work and she enjoys the school's mission to nurture the whole child and the use of brain-based learning techniques.
