Cortney Ragsdale graduated with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and obtained her Reading Endorsement from the University of Northern Iowa, and her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Viterbo University in WI. She taught First grade for 11 years in Iowa and was a stay-at-home mom for 5 years. She then returned to education and taught Kindergarten and Pre-K for CMS for five years before teaching at Bradford Prep. She has taught Kindergarten at Bradford Prep for the past 6 years. She is passionate about child development, brain-based learning, and character education. Both her mother and grandmother were teachers so the family has a love for inspiring young minds through the love of learning.
Ms. Ragsdale has another love and that is her two daughters. Kylie is a senior at Bradford and Maci is a freshman. In her spare time, Ms. Ragsdale loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading.
