As a graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a B.S. in history, I started my professional career with AXA-Equitable insurance as a call center analyst and eventually life insurance underwriter. Upon deciding to change careers to teaching, I enrolled into UNC-Charlotte’s post-degree teaching program and earned a standard professional teaching license in social studies. My teaching career started at Olympic High School in CMS before moving to Bradford Prep in 2015. I’ve since obtained a dual teaching certification in secondary social studies and ELA and teach a range of high school courses for Bradford Prep.
