Welcome to the Team!

Taylor brings a lifelong love for sports and player development to the Bradford Prep community. In 2021, Taylor helped establish the very first tennis program at Johnson and Wales University, in Charlotte. She served as the head coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams for the first four seasons of the program, leading the men’s team to an ECAC Conference Championship appearance in 2025. Following her time at JWU, Taylor served as the Athletic Director at York Preparatory Academy, in Rock Hill, SC. During her time at YPA the baseball team hosted the first ever regional finals. The girls’ soccer team made it to the state playoffs, the boys cross country team finished 2nd in the region and 8th in the state, and the boys’ basketball team made it to the 2nd round of the state tournament.

Prior to her professional career in athletics, Taylor attended Pfeiffer University, helping lead the women’s team to a conference championship victory in 2015, before graduating with her bachelor's degree in human services. She finished as a 4-time Conference Carolinas All Conference team, 2-time Conference Carolinas All-Tournament team, and ITA Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship and Leadership Award recipient. Taylor later completed her MBA at Berry College where she was the graduate assistant men's and women's tennis coach. After completing her MBA, she spent time as a police officer and polygraph examiner in Alabama.

Taylor believes that a complete athlete is one who strives for excellence both on and off the court. Her coaching philosophy is “do the little things right and everything else will fall into place”. She strives to foster a culture of accountability, pushing student athletes to take ownership over their performance and growth.

Outside of work, you can find Taylor traveling, hanging with her dogs, training for triathlons, pet sitting, and probably trying to rescue a hospice dog.
