Volunteer Background Checks

If you wish to volunteer in a capacity not directly working with children (administrative support in the office, working with beautification team to landscape, volunteering at a special event, etc.), or simply wish to have lunch with your child, for example, a criminal background check is not required. However, before volunteering directly with students (classroom help, Friday enrichment activities, field trip, overnight trips), volunteers must complete a background check. Background checks are good for two years and cost $16.45.
