Emily Hill was born and raised right here in Charlotte, NC and was educated through the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. She lives in Kannapolis with her husband, Zach; and her parents, sister, and brother and sister-in-law along with her nieces and nephew, all live in Charlotte. She graduated from Independence High School in 2000 and went to UNC Charlotte where she studied to be a teacher and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2003. She is licensed to teach Kindergarten through sixth grade and has taught school for 21 years. During that time, she taught all elementary school grades in different capacities. She began her career at Newell Elementary in the CMS system, was a nanny for a couple of years for younger children, followed by a stint at Mountain Island Day School. Emily has taught at Kent Academy since the fall of 2012 and is excited to join the Bradford Preparatory team. In my free time, I love playing and watching sports, and hanging out with family and friends.
