Enrollment Lottery Application
The open enrollment period for the 2026-2027 school year opened on December 1, 2025 at 8AM and closed on February 10, 2026. A public lottery was held on February 11, 2026 at 5PM. All applications received after February 10 are placed on the wait list in the order they were received.
Parents will need to submit an application for each student they wish to apply for. Students must be a resident of North Carolina when the application is submitted and students must be 5 years old by August 31st to be eligible for Kindergarten. Please note: You must submit a new application every year. Wait lists do not carry from one year to the next. Current students do not need to apply as they will automatically have a seat for next year.
Enrollment Offers and the Wait List
If your child was accepted the night of the lottery, you will receive the acceptance offer on Tuesday, February 17th. The offer will be emailed to the email address we have listed for the parent in the lottery system. If you do not receive the email on the 17th, please email [email protected] on 2/18 after checking your junk mail. Please note that the enrollment process is a multi-step process which includes an online enrollment form and an in-person meeting. Parents will have 21 days to accept and complete the online enrollment form and 30 days to bring in the required paperwork and complete the registration process. In your acceptance email, there will be a link to sign up for a school tour as well as the link to sign up for your individual student registration meeting.
If your child is wait listed, you will be able to track their progress on the wait list online throughout the spring and summer. As spots become available, we will work down the wait list in the order they are listed online.
