11th Grade Smoky Mountains/Tennessee Trip

Smoky Mountains Cabin Kitchen Dollywood

Trip Dates: March 15-17 (leaving at 12:30PM on 3/15, returning at dinner time on 3/17). Students should arrive on campus at 12PM on Sunday and head straight to the Commons for bag checks.

Destination: Smoky Mountains, Tennessee

Trip Itinerary: Our Juniors have been asking for a spring trip for several years and we tried this trip last year - it quickly became a student favorite so we are offering it again this year! We will be heading to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee where we have rented a giant cabin that will fit the entire group. Since it is a house rental, we will be staying over for two nights. In the interest of not missing too many days of school, we will be departing at noon on Sunday, 3/15. We will drive directly to the cabin we have rented for this trip - it has 16 bedrooms all with bathrooms en suite.  Students will enjoy the evening at the cabin where there is an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, game room, pool table, arcade games and a home theatre. We will be making dinner both nights at the cabin as well as breakfast both mornings. On Monday after breakfast, we will head to Dollywood for a day of fun riding roller coasters. Lunch at the park is included in the day pass for our group so we will have lunch there. We will head back to the cabin for dinner and another evening of games and entertainment at the cabin. On Tuesday morning, we will have breakfast and then pack up to head to University of Tennessee for a group tour at 10AM. After the tour, students will have lunch on campus before heading back to Bradford Prep!
