General Information:

Students are expected to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow as well as comfortable clothes to hike in.  Students and staff will leave campus at 4PM to head to Grandfather Mountain.  They will stop for dinner at a restaurant so students should bring money for dinner the first night.  All students will go on the hike on Thursday. While the hike is not strenuous, it is several miles so all students should bring the appropriate shoes and clothing for the hike.  There will not be an option to stay back on the hike, so students should not sign up for this trip if they do not plan to hike. If a student is injured, the parent will have to drive to the campground to pick up their student. Students will camp overnight on Wednesday and Thursday night.  They will pack up and head home that Friday morning.

Transportation:

Students will be either driving themselves or riding with other students.  If your child is not able to drive or ride with another student, the school will provide an alternate method of transportation.  Please indicate below if your student will need to ride with staff.
